Adams Rite Aerospace recognizes that, on occasion, an airline will require parts in less than normal 24 hour schedule. In response to this need and in general accord with the World Airline Supplier's Guide, we have established the following priorities for processing expedited requirements:
A.O.G. - Aircraft grounded by a part or parts required (provide aircraft tail number). CRITICAL - Imminent A.O.G. or shop work stoppage. Parts required by a specific date.
To ensure that the correct priority is assigned, ARA requests that you use the exact terminology as capitalized above when entering a priority order. In the CRITICAL priority, please be sure to give the required date. Orders that clearly state the priority when received will be processed as requested.
ARA will make no priority changes on orders already entered except in response to a specific request from the airlines, and then only if the airline quotes one of the terms capitalized above. ARA will try but cannot guarantee we can interpret other terminology.
In compliance with the World Airline Supplier's Guide, ARA will advise of action taken or priority orders as follows:
A.O.G. - Within four (4) hours. CRITICAL - Within eight (8) hours.
Please note, if ARA is out of stock on an expedited part where ROLT lead time would normally apply, ARA will expedite the order and ship as soon as possible Shipping containers for A.O.G. and CRITICAL items will be so identified to facilitate location in your receiving area
